SUMMARY OF OCTOBER 23, 2005 ROUTE MODIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONS

Route Key Highlights

2/10 Combination of two routes (access to both sides of town )

4 Routing change (simplified routing and new connection to CCBC Essex)

8 Routing change (added capacity due to articulated buses)

9 New route (better Light Rail connections)

12 New route (new Light Rail connection)


13 Routing change (improved midday and Saturday frequency; simplified routing)

20 Routing change (simplified routing; improved midday service)

23 Routing change (simplified routing; new limited-stop service on No. 40 Line)

24 Routing change (improved midday and weekend frequency)

31/35 Combination of two routes and routing changes (access to both sides of town; more frequent service to White Marsh)

33 Routing change (expanded service through Armistead Gardens to Eastpoint Mall; better bus connections)

40 New route (new limited-stop service; faster service between Security Square Mall, Downtown, Bayview Medical Campus and Eastpoint Mall)

44 Routing change (simplified route; better connections to Social Security Administration and Security Square Mall)

65 Service discontinued due to low ridership

77 Routing change (simplified routing; better connection to Light Rail; more frequent midday and Saturday service)

86 Service to be provided by No. 44 Line

102 Service to be provided by No. M-17 Line

103 Service to be provided by Nos. 5, 8, 13, 15, 31/35 Lines and Metro Subway

105 Service to be provided by No. 19 Line

150 No route change-number of trips under review

160 No route change-number of trips under review

M-1 Routing change (simplified routing)

M-6 Service to be provided by No. 44 Line

M-8 Routing change (no extension to Owings Mills)

M-10 Routing change (simplified routing; new connection to Villa Julie)

M-12 Service to be provided by M-10 Line

M-17 Introduce weekend service

ALL OTHER EXISTING LINES WILL CONTINUE TO OPERATE AS THEY DO CURRENTLY.
