Gas leak forces residents to evacuate in Scituate
SCITUATE, Mass. -- Residents in Scituate were forced to evacuate after gasoline fumes were detected on Roberts Drive.

Fire officials say that they believe someone poured a gallon of gasoline down a catch basin, creating the potential for a catastrophic explosion.

One resident had to be taken to the hospital after she was overcome by the fumes.

In one house, common household bleach reacted with the gas fumes, producing carbon monoxide gas.
