Candidates for Constitutional office were AWOL from Carribbean Festival
This past Saturday I participated in the Carribbean Festival parade. Thousands lined the parade route down Warran Ave to Blue Hill Ave to Franklin Park.

But not all candidates for Boston city office (council, mayor), State Rep, and Governor were there.

Mayor: Martha Hennigan (present); Menenino (missing).

Governor: Deval Patrick (present); Tom Reilly (missing).

Lt. Governor: Deborah Goldberg, Sam Kelley & Andrea Silbert (all missing).

Attorney General: Martha Coakley (missing).

Secretary of the Commonwealth: Bill Galvin (missing) (is he announced for SecComm, or is he running for Governor?). Is Kam Kerry running for SecComm?

Treasurer: Tim Cahill (missing).

Any supporters of the "missing" know why your candidate(s) chose not to honor Boston's Carribbean community?
