What was your favorite moment of the Engler Administration?
Edited on Sat Oct-09-04 09:36 PM by ih8thegop

It's John Mangler's 56th birthday Tuesday!

To celebrate, let's reminisce about those days of auld lang syne, if you will. So, what was your favorite moment of is administration, besides the time he left office?

For me, I'd say the moment I saw that NBC News had called Gore the winner in Michigan in 2000. That meant Engler would go 0-for-3 in terms of carrying Michigan for Republicans.

3. Feiger's remark about the Engler triplets
"How do they know they're his kids? Did they pull down their pants and look for a corkscrew tail?"

4. When the fat. ugly, useless fuck left Lansing.
Guess that pretty much establishes how I feel about Engler.

5. I moved to Mich. in 1995
and as I began to investigate local politics, trying to get a feel for things, I took one look at Governor Fuckhead and thought, what in the hell have we done, relocating up here?? What's wrong with these people? But Jennifer has made all those nasty thoughts go away...

...and now you had to remind me. Dammmmmmmmmmn!;)

To John: "happy" birthday you filthy, evil fuck. Like all Republicans, you left a stable full of horseshit in your wake for poor Jen to clean up, didn't you? And you tongue-groomed Bush's ass so desperately and then he didn't give you a position in his cabinet! That was probably the hardest I've ever laughed in my life, when it became clear that all of your butt kissing had gotten you NADA. You had to scuttle back to your lair in shame.

Whew, thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

7. When Bush lost the primary to McCain....
..because so many of us dems in a moment of mass conciousness crossed over to embarrass the bloated Bush buddy.

It was a rare bright moment while being governed by an asshole.

11. Shirley you jest
Whatever you posted that got deleted was probably pretty dumb anyways. I suppose you supported Engler the Draft dodger shutting down the mental hospitals and kicking those lazy bums out of the hospitals too?

13. What makes you think all people on welfare are "healthy" for one
and #2, our economy does not support all of the healthy workers anyway. And #3, Yes, I feel kinda dumb talking to a double tombstonee.

14. Enviro concerns
My favorite moment was when Johnny Boy split the DNR into two and formed the DEQ. Now there are two underfunded bureacracies to handle the environmental concerns in the state.
