Absentee ballots..
If you have know someone or if you have young people who won't be in the area on election day or for some other reason. Order their absentee ballots now!

Tell everyone you know who is lazy or you know may not get to the poll on election day. Tell someone who says they are going to do what they want to anyway and tell them to get a ballot because they may change their mind by election day..

Tell your family members and drop hints here and there. Drop information about what the republiCONS are doing here and there, don't act like you are trying to have a long conversation about it or they will stop listening drop some info and if they start asking question squeeze some more info about what the repubs are doing in your explanation..

1. Lazy? If I wan't so lazy, I'd order an absentee ballot!
But that would require the click of a mouse!

3. Me and some friends of mine have been
telling others to spread the word to friends or family and their young people who may or may not be ready on election day and come up with all kinds of excuses..

2. Good reminder! I was working on this today, but my printer needs ink,
so I'll ask my son to get the application printed for me. I swear I haven't used up the ink - what a scam that is!

4. We also are printing up articles or pieces..
we find here on du with info that let them know what is really going on and what the stakes are for them, and the lies that are being perpetrated by the CONS.

We find stuff on DU or other sites that are short and to the point and then when we are in public we lay one here or there where we think it will do the most good..

We give them to people we know who have a big mouth and know a lot of people and will spread the word about the right wing lies..

5. This could be a pivotal moment
in all elections. If we as members of the Democratic Party push the early vote and absentee ballots it could change the shape of November tremendously. Just when repugs think its a close race we pull ahead in the absentee ballots and early voting. That in my opinion is reason enough to make repugs sick to their stomach and a better chance for us to achieve the kind of country that is a good place for everyone.

6. Does anyone know......
the cutoff date for requesting an absentee ballot by mail from your township clerk? In other words, if I requested a ballot and sent it out early last week, will I get it in the mail in time to vote?

7. The cut off...
to request an absentee ballot is 2pm the Saturday before the election. The county clerk must receive the request by then. Since you sent yours in last week, I assume you should get it in time to vote.

8. Thanks!
I actually received it today and am filling it out now. I was being pretty lazy not looking up the answer on the "Intertubes" so I appreciate your reply.
