I was saddened to read about the loss of life from protests due to the allegations of mistreatment of the Qur'an. My remorse quickly turned to outrage when I learned that Newsweek had retracted the inflammatory remarks.

It is not enough to say that it is sorry -- the people responsible should be fired. Accountability and responsible reporting for all forms of media are essential.

As far as I am concerned, the blood of those 16 dead is on the hands of Newsweek.

I was saddened to read about the loss of life from WARS due to the allegations of WMDS AND LINKS TO TERROR. My remorse quickly turned to outrage when I learned that, ALTHOUGH THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY HAS ADMITTED "WE WERE ALL WRONG", THE WHITE HOUSE HAS NOT retracted the inflammatory remarks.

It is not enough to say that "WE WERE ALL WRONG" -- the people responsible should be fired. Accountability for all forms of GOVERNMENT IS essential.

As far as I am concerned, the blood of those 1600 US MILITARY AND UNTOLD THOUSANDS OF IRAQI dead is on the hands of THE WHITE HOUSE.
