WHERE: Hennipin and Lagoon (Uptown Minneapolis)
WHEN: Saturday, May 21
TIME: 2 PM

2:30 PM we will march to the military recruitment station on Lake
Street.

WHERE: Chicago Avene between 5th and 6th Streets
WHEN: Sunday, May 22
TIME: 11:30 AM

Meet in front of the Metrodome. We will carry banners with names of
the war dead. We will remind people of the cost of war. We will shake off our torpor. And take to the streets.

1. Afraid I do not get these people...
They do not think we should have a military? Do they think we would be better off if we just disbanded it right now?

2. Where does it say "disband" the military? No where.
Those of us that show up will be protesting the pResident's lies, the deaths of innocent people, and the raid on our treasury to give obscene amounts of money to Halliburton and company, while letting our own people go without.

We will also be protesting the military's sick fascination with torture which will hurt our soldiers for generations to come.

4. I think that refers to out of our schools
which I agree with completely.

Also, people are furious with recruiters for some really awful tactics they've been using to get kids to sign up. You should watch this news report:
