Donate to the DFL and get your money back in a refund

I just wanted to remind people about the MN Political Contribution Refund Program. This program allows you to donate up to $50 per person, $100 per married couples, to a political party or candidate for state office and get your money back in the form of a refund. Here's a link to the page:

So for those who are digging deep, stretching their budgets, and trying to decide which candidates(s) or organizations will get their hard-earned dollars, a donation of $50 per person to the DFL won't cost you a dime. (Unless of course you have already given that amount to the qualifying organizations listed on the website.) Personally, it made it alot easier for me to decide who to donate to in this last round. Instead of having to choose between Patty Wetterling, the DFL, and/or the DNC I was able to do all three thanks to the refund.
