the weather radar looks awfully menacing, but there is not a flake to be seen.

3. I'm working from home today and trotted a block up the street to Brueggar's
I left my home just as the first flakes were starting and by the time I came home (the whole trip took maybe 20 minutes) I had to walk in the street because the snow had covered the sidewalk so completely I could no longer tell where the icy spots were. The street still looked okay and, of course, the freeways and main roads should stay better longer than the sidewalks - but I don't think it will be too long before they get nasty at the rate it's coming down.

5. It's really coming down in Uptown. You can't tell where the ice is, and I nearly wiped
out in our parking lot.
