Jefferson County switched to Diebold
I just got back from voting this morning. We have used punch cards here for years - but this morning I was handed a 'fill in the circle' ballot and a felt tip pen. Odd. And instead of the normal ballot box, I got to put my ballot into a machine that looked like a large laser printer, with the word "DIEBOLD" in big letters on the top.

I wonder if my vote even counted?

2. Pettis County would rather switch than fight
Apparently Pettis County switched also. Machines being sold by Adkins and Sons of Clinton, Missouri. (Many ties to Matt Blunt and "Thor" Hearne, who prostituted himself 3-21-2005, verbally, as "general counsel" to four day old AC4VR.com. AC4VR.com shares a mail box with Talon News, employer of "Jeff Gannon". And today, "Thor" wielded his mighty hammer behind the scenes at the Jimmy Carter-James Baker "Blue Ribbon" voting panel)!

And the machines don't even meet the 1-1-2006 HAVA standards!

This information below from a Dem. State Rep's office.

"Her assistant told me that the committee is not purchasing equipment. All equipment is purchased at the local level. However, according to Statute 115.225, before county clerks can buy or use equipment, it has to be certified that the machines meet a certain standard.

What the state committee is doing is looking into voting machines and making sure that they meet the standard before the companies can show them to county clerks or before they can be purchased.

Here is a link to the statute which gives the standards. It appears that this law was passed last year.

3. If the Election Authority is Corrupt in the first place...
Does it Really Matter?

There were discovered as many as 788 illegally registered voters at Baptist Bible College in Springfield Missouri. The Local Election Authority (Richard Struckhoff) was notified as well as the Secretary of State (Matt Blunt).

The voters were never required to properly register because the Springfield Missouri Election Authority was unwilling to make the politically charged decision. This voter fraud may have been occurring since 1979.

Should a board of election commissioners be established in Greene County to assume responsibility for the registration of voters and the fair conduct of elections? This is the question being asked on a petition currently circulating throughout Greene County and Springfield Missouri.

How can approximately 788 people live at the same address?

4. Does It Really Matter??
I have bookmarked your page, but can't use your sign up sheet because I have already been deeply involved for a long, long time.

Let me ask you a question. What does Greene County matter when the same thing is happening all over the state??

How do we make headway working with a Democratic Party when our own SoS, Robin Carnahan, has holdovers from Matt Blunt who do what they want. Install what they want where they want?

Why does Robin Carnahan have Mark H. "Thor" Hearne on her HAVA Commission?

Doesn't she remember that this "Thor" Hearne is the same SOB that tried to keep the Governor from appointing Jean Carnahan as Senator, if Mel Carnahan beat John Ashcroft, which he did, from his grave?

"Thor" Hearne makes the claim, even after Mel's tragic death, that appointing Jean Carnahan would be illegal because "as of 11-7-2000, Mel Carnahan is no longer a (legal) person. And he no longer resides in this state."

SoS Carnahan is the chief election officer in the state!

If she can't keep the Democrats from playing electoral Three Card Monte with the Diebold vending Adkins and Sons of Clinton, Missouri, how is phone banking going to make a difference?

Want to change something?Try this.

Put that Democratic money up for the only thing that will change things. A Constitutional Initiative to ban all machines and go to serially numbered paper votes, hand marked, hand cast, hand counted, at precinct level in front of the Press and Public.

And while your at it, put out one more Initiative. Tax the top 3% of Missourians the same amount they have had carved off their Federal taxes since Clinton was President and put it in the state coffers. That will take care of both school and health funding!

It's not like anyone is so busy with the "new jobs" that were supposed to have been created by top 3% that they don't have time to circulate or sign petitions.

If the Democratic party has *any* money left, put it where it will do some good!
