Both sides find reason to cheer President Bush's visit

BY JOSEPH MORTON AND JAKE THOMPSON

WORLD-HERALD BUREAU

WASHINGTON - With President Bush swooping into Nebraska's 3rd Congressional District on Sunday, Republican Adrian Smith is excited about the enthusiasm such a high-profile appearance could generate in his suddenly white-hot race.

"It just points to the fact that there's a lot at stake," said Smith, a two-term state senator from Gering.

Just two days before the election, Bush will be campaigning in one of America's reddest Republican districts - one that a Democrat hasn't won in 48 years.

"It's a testament to the strength of our campaign," said Democrat Scott Kleeb, a ranch hand from Dunning.

FULL story at link above.

Kleeb is ahead by 4 points in a toll taken this week!

I know a lot of candidates are asking for funds. If you can, please consider giving a little to KLEEB.
