Could you answer that question in Nebraska?

What color is your state in the link below?

1. I'm pretty sure convicted felons can vote in Nebraska
after they pay their debt to society. There was a story from the Jim Esch campaign about a convicted felon working as a volunteer and they were sad they were doing all this volunteer work but they couldn't even vote for him. Then someone pointed out that laws in Nebraska actually would allow them to vote. I don't know the details on the law.

3. I did - I went to each state site and posted this information b/c I'm a civil rights activist from
the 60s, and I am interested in everyone knowing what the laws are in each state regarding felons' and prisoners' rights to vote. And, since the laws vary from state to state, and based on the repeated "I didn't know that!" responses from ppl, it seemed to me that others would be interested in checking out their own state's laws, particularly the ppl who are taking an active role in voter registration.

If my post is upsetting to you and you want to report it as spam, I guess you would do that via the alert.

Peace, anyway. :)
