Warren Cty. Checking In.
Home of Mike "The Carpetbagging Trenton Punchline" Doherty, John DiMaio, Rick Gardner and Everett Chamberlain. Represented by Scott "The Neanderthal" Garrett.

Our motto: "Being the sick man of NJ is hard work, and our elected officials prove how hard we work".

I, on the other hand, am the Dem worm in the repuke apple. ;-)

1. Bergen County Garrett refugee here
Sigh. Once upon a time my town was in the 9th Congressional District until it was gerrymandered into the impossible to win 5th.

4. Glad to have found the website!
It looks great! Good job!

I just signed up to your site...I used to be involved with the Morris County Democrats, but then I moved last spring to Washington...

I know you went to the elementary school up the road, not because I'm stalking you, but because I read it in a "Where were you when JFK was shot" thread.

We gotta get that bum Garrett outta there!

5. Garrett
...is way too much of a wingnut. He's the only person in New Jersey to have a poor environmental record.

6. checking in
Hey, I just moved to Hackettstown from West Chester, PA where I graduated college and was pretty active in the College Democrats of West Chester University and a number of local and state campaigns.

Since I can't seem to find a job up here yet, I have been counter-intuitively volunteering as the Northwest Regional Coordinator of NJ for Kerry and the Warren County Contact for NJ for Democracy, the Dean group.

Please join our respective Yahoo! groups,

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NWNJforKerry/

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NWNJforDemocracy/

We are having meetups and house parties up here.

Regarding the Garrett problem, even if we can't beat him, at least we can knock him down a little bit. Anne Wolfe is an awesome, whip-smart candidate. I am trying to get her to come to our Kerry meetup in Hackettstown. She knew John Kerry in 1970.

Anyway, that's me, checking in.

Thanks,

Erik Anderson
Hackettstown, NJ
