Could you answer that question in North Carolina?

What color is your state in the link below?

1. thanks hippiechick
that's really interesting. i wish they hadn't made the better (ie, ex-felons can vote) states red on their map. i tried to copy some text from the NC paragraph but it wouldn't let me. but it discusses how felons are "restored to citizenship." are they without country while incarcerated? also, almost half of the boards of elections in NC did not know the law, so this is very good to know. wonder how many ex-felons will be turned away in error.

Rights of ex-felons

NC Voters' Bill of Rights - Obama staffers really liked the Bill of Rights - to reduce so that ppl could take to the polls with them.

Actually, I registered a very young ex-felon last Saturday who wasn't going to register because he thought he wasn't eligible. I later found this site and have printed out the 3-up "You've Been Locked Up. Don't Be Locked Out!" to have on hand.

I was cautioned by the O reps that we have to be very selective about to whom we give the ex-felon handout as the MSM and Repukes would crucify O, accusing him and the Dem Party of registering felons.

Anyway, I would go to the Democracy-NC link above. I'm sure you someone there could help you with any question you might have.

3. This is from last year
I hope that the 1/2 of elections officials who didn't know that ex-felons who are out now can vote, have been properly informed.
