1. I am a part time NC resident.
I have a home in Harnett County, but am currently at my home in Utah.

I attended a seminar with Naomi Wolfe and Richard Kirk in Oct of last year in Salt Lake City. It was a reading and signing of "Give Me Liberty: A Handbook for American Revolutionaries" by Naomi Wolf. After the reading was a discussion of how our civil liberties have eroded, and what we can do to get them back. It was very enlightening.

It was sponsored in part by our local PBS station through the University of Utah.

Perhaps you can contact the local PBS station in the Triangle area. From what I have been able to pull when I am in NC the PBS station I get (UNC) does not seem to have the diverse programming we are accorded, but it may be a start.

3. I work at UNC, and I recommend contacting the SDS at UNC, State, Duke, etc., and get them involved.
Students for a Democratic Society died out across college campuses, but it is active again at UNC-CH.
