Ohio GOP Overrules White on Poll Challengers

County chairpersons apparently cannot be lone rangers. The state party believes voter fraud is likely, making challengers mandatory.

John White: "This is not surprising. I knew the Ohio Republican Party had the option to do this. We just have a difference of opinion on how to deploy workers on Election Day."

And, Dennis Lieberman again calls it as he sees it: "...a direct attempt by the Bush campaign to influence this election. Had this been between the local Democratic Party and the local Republican Party, we wouldn't have this insanity."
