I think I read somewhere about him speaking out along with Marcy Kaptur (she's great) about the whole CoinGate think that's going on here in Ohio. All the rePukes in this state should be sent to prison!!!
and he was the only Democratic congress member from Ohio to do so. We should be proud of the Democrats Ohio have sent to Congress. They are well informed and do vote and lead appropriately.
P.S. I think Traficant was gone by the time of the Iraq War Resolution vote, so there is an asterisk for the Mahoning Valley vote.
6. I wonder why he wasn't on the short list for Kerry's VP
He seems like a fairly progressive congressman in a moderate/conservative district in Ohio, which was the crucial state last time around. If he is the nominee, I'll definately send him a few bucks. Blackwell must not win.
our congressman. Then the repukes gerrymandered his district and we got stuck with Portman who is a complete butt head.
I like Ted. He is a moderate and not over the top. As a non-religious person my only issue with Ted is he is a ordained minister but that is easily overlooked because he does not force his beliefs on anyone.
Strickland is a good man, and he needs to get our nomination. He's the only electable Democratic candidate in the race.
Coleman has less name recognition in southern Ohio and has too much anti-gun baggage--and his vocal support for the recent absurd Columbus city "assault weapons" ban has hurt his case. (Anyone who thinks a criminal contemplating murder is going to reconsider committing the crime in Columbus because he would face an additional First Degree Misdemeanor (!) for possessing an "assault weapon" has a screw loose.)
...that he is retiscent to do the personal fund raising activities necessary for a good war chest. If he can overcome that he will be a strong candidate.
