Rural/Micropolitan/Suburban Elected Officials who are Democrats
I just got to thinking that it would be interesting to know how many local politicians are Democratic from the lesser-populated areas of the Buckeye State.

For me: My address is listed as Norwalk (Huron County), but I actually live outside of the city in a township in Erie County. Norwalk's mayor is a Democrat, Sue Smith Lesch. And Oxford Township (population 1,000 approx) has 2 out of 3 trustees as Democrats.

Anybody else can list their elected officials if they wish.

One of the two common pleas judges, the divorce judge, the auditor, the prosecutor, the coroner and the misdemeanor judge. On the minus side, all three commissioners are Rs as is the other CP judge, the probate judge, the treasurer, the state rep. and the state senator.

In town it is all Rs except that the city council just went from one D to two Ds at the expense of an incumbent neocon.

Side note, this county went 60-40 for Dubya.
