Thursday, Feb. 24
12 noon
USW International Headquarters
Downtown Pittsburgh
60 Boulevard of the Allies
Our brothers and sisters in Wisconsin and other states are in a fight for the very survival of their jobs and their unions. This is our moment to stand and show solidarity with them and let their governor and the extremist organizations financing these attacks know: WE STAND TOGETHER!

If you plan to attend or if you have questions, please call Catherine at 412-456-2985.

1. I will try my best to get to this...
Thank you.

BTW, I just called Tim Murphy's office (since his e-mails make it impossible to show how he votes on women's issues) and of course, he supported Mike Pence's amendment to DEFUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD.

Tim Murphy doesn't care about the middle class, or family planning of the middle class. We can only expect worse from this miserable representative.

2. Too bad that the dems don't come up with (and support) a strong candidate against him.
His district is so gerry-mandered, but there are lots of democratic pockets. If we had a strong candidate instead of the unknowns they put out there every two years, we might be able to make a dent in his lock on the vote. Tom Balya (Westmoreland Co. commissioner) is stepping down... someone like him, for instance!
