A little note I just dropped to our Gubernor

Dear Governor Corbett,
Your budget address yesterday was very nice. There was one area that I must admit, I was very disappointed though. Administrative spending. A good leader, leads by example. I fully expected you to come out and say you were going to reduce your salary by 50%, pay for your own vehicle and insurance, contribute 20% of your healthcare premium, and cut your staff by 50%. And also demand that the legislator's do the same. Do you not know, sir, we are facing a budget deficit of 3 BILLION dollars. Then again, you are a Republican, I guess the party of the monied elite really has no interest in the people who pay the bills, they have much to much on their plate ensuring that their politicol donors needs are taken care of. Don't worry though sir, the next 3 years will go by very quickly and then you can get on with your life's work.

I told him if he wants PA to be like Texas even they have a gas extraction tax that funds education. I wonder if I'll get a reply.

Corbett gets tossed out in 2014 and the gerrymandering isn't so bad that Rs lose badly in the legislature in 2012.
