Book of Daniel Yanked: Nashville Too 'Sensitive' - actiivist alert

Really weird, east Tennessee is supposed to be the conservative side of the state, but they get to watch this show and 'liberal' Nashville doesn't. If you want to help us change the idiot minds at Channel 4, their contact info is at the bottom of my rant at the following link. Thanks to all of you who can help. I don't know why these wackos can't just turn the channel!

1. Maybe the east side is getting more progressive?
I would love that. :) My town got the show (I forgot about it though since it's still new to me heh heh) and I enjoyed it. I was surprised with Nashville. But than again my Mom in 2004 around the election was there and said she saw a big sign that said "Bush Country." (blech)

2.  WSMV is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting
THAT could have something to do with it.

I don't watch any of their stations , that includes Fox , WB, and UPN stations in the Nashville area.

6. I have been outraged by this.....
I called and was not allowed to speak with anyone in programming. I had to leave a message on a menu line.
It's censorship at it's worst. Don't repukes have remote controls? Channel lock has been available on most tv's for what, 15 or 20 years. Isn't there something called a V-chip?
I have basic cable and have to surf around two blocks of "christian" programming starring that virtue of amerikan values, Pat Robertson who's on several times a day, along with some old, overly made up hag with a pink wig. I also have a block of cartoon channels I don't watch. I don't watch soap operas that take up all three network channels for most of the day, and I very rarely watch network tv in the evening because of ridiculous shows like the bachelor and odd crap like that. So, I just pick up my remote, turn over to NPT, C-Span, A&E, Discovery, History, Bravo, Animal Planet or whatever til I find something that interests me. It's not brain surgery. It's called democracy, although at this point, I'm not so sure there is a real democracy in this country anymore.
This was a real watershed moment for me personally because it hit so close to home (Nashville).
I had really been thinking that the middle Tennessee area was becoming more progressive, albeit a slow process, but some progress was being made. Now I can only say that I am ashamed, embarrassed and disgusted by this banning.
To tell you the truth, I actually had no plans to watch The Book of Daniel, but now the choice is not mine to make and that is what bothers me the most.
