Let the Swift Boating begin
Bob Corker didn't hire the Swift Boat Liars for nothing. "Corker Campaign Says Ford Needs To Explain Abramoff Ties" is a headline in the Chattanoogan, Jan. 10th,www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_78414.asp.

The Bob Corker for Senate campaign said Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. should fully explain and acknowledge his relationship with "Team Abramoff" lobbyists.

The article lists people who were employed by one of Abramoff's firms and the contribution amounts are rather small(in comparision) and they appear to be from these employees as individuals to Ford. However, no where is it mentioned that Van Hilleary took money directly from Abramoff ($1,000.00 in '97 and $500.00 in '99). Nor is it mentioned that Bryant took money from ARMPAC, Delay's PAC that was basically used to launder money that it received from Abramoff.

Swifties doing what they do - lie, blur and distort just enough to confuse.

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

1. Oh of course
How else do you think he was going to win? He is seen as "too liberal" by republicans. :eyes: Hopefully it won't work. Why isn't he working on smearing the other republicans so he can win?

anything to tie Dems to Abramoff.
It's hilarious, actually.
Next they'll be applying the six degrees of seperation.

(just noticed that the chattanoogan has scrubbed the story
from their site.)

search engine on the site to retrieve it. Doesn't really matter because their search engine stinks. Another article decrying Ford's out of state fundraising appeared in the Times/Free Press a couple of weeks ago, but no mention was made about how the repugs do this!!! I noticed that the only comment that Kurita had about all of that was that she was campaigning in Chattanooga and other places within the state, while Ford was traveling to out of state fundraisers, etc., which I thought was fairly classy of her.

edit: typo
