1. There must be some blues there. You elected Chet Edwards to

Congress. Even though, I know many who voted for him were repukes or he would not have been sent back to congress after having his district altered for the second time in less than four years, there are many true blues who supported him and kept him there. Or were you just meaning that you are down in the mouth? Maybe both?

3. Yes, Chet eked one out - barely. All I can say is that he is

better than a Republican. I hated him when the fraWd first came out. I must have sent him at least a dozen urgent messages - no reply. Although I heard him on C-SPAN talk about SS and the economy and he made some really strong arguments against B**.
