I've said that myself, about the party being alive and kicking. More and more races are getting 2 or 3 candidates and that's a sign of a healthy party.

We need an update on where we are on our ballot races. Do we have challengers in all of our races?

I want to remind you all that we have a research forum, what used to be called the Campaign Underground. It's not yet finished, and any of you with information can help us keep it up to date. Crispini has done the bulk of the work and a few others of us are adding some other details. Take a look at it and if you have some solid information you want to add, please do. There are so many nooks and crannies of DU I have yet to explore.

You called it "open forum", but I saw no way to add information. If we have things to add/edit, do we just PM you, as the owner of that thread?

You may have seen it locked since I was posting to it. But I'm done for today. It has a safety feature that while someone is editing the page, no one else can post to the live page. Look at the bottom of the page, lower right hand and you should see the edit link. It's in the line with
Printer Friendly | Permalink | Edit | Top

Choose Edit, and that's going to bring up the whole page and the raw post for the whole page. Find the section you want to add information to in the post message section, and follow the formatting of the data around it. For example there are classes for the color bullets for Democrat and republican. You'll see what I'm talking about when you view that post code.

10. I went to Will's dad's church growing up. Great family, and

Will was always a nice guy. We were both in youth group and he was a year older...I remember his as being smart, funny and kind.
