Amy Goodman will be in Dallas on Friday, Feb 18. The event will be at about 7:30 pm. We need to massively publicize this event. Help in the following areas is greatly appreciated:

*Making and distributing flyers for the event
*Providing a list of media with a contact names (or email)
*Inviting members of media to the event
*Contacting student organizations on different campuses
*Informing all web sites and calendars in your range

On an additional note, a venue is still being sought out.

The ultimate goal is to bring "Democracy Now" and Amy Goodman to North Texas on a daily basis.

1. AMY GOODMAN is great..I just
love RSTV. We watched a documentary on 911 conspiracy. It told the intent by the WOLFOWITZ doctrine. Very informative.

4. How about the FunAsia place?
They're usually amenable to D causes, albeit it IS in Richardson.

Or the CWA union hall, if you wanted to stay more central?

Or the Magnolia Lounge?

5. Not bad, Ritter event and others have been successful, based on
conversation last night I think they are looking for something more mainstream and more centrally located. Brookhaven campus is under consideration along with a couple of others. FunAsia did not come up.
