An insider report on Tom Davis . . .
I can't source this but I was working the campaign for Andrew Hurst tonight and someone told me that they had heard from staffers on the inside that Tom Davis believes the House will go to the Democrats this year.

I wonder if he thinks his own seat will fall?

1. Davis should lose his job just based on his "Steroids in Baseball"
grandstanding.

I hope his seat goes to Hurst.

2. Crap Davis should have lost his seat
for voting yes on two articles of impeachment on Bill Clinton. Rumor has it he was carrying on with his current wife Jean Marie Bible Thumping DeVolites long before either were divorce from their previous spouses. That must be why both Mr. and Mrs Davis are members of the Grand Hypocrite Party

He was my "representative" at the time of the Impeachment and man did I enjoy the phone call to his office telling them that he was one of the worlds biggest hypocrites and asked them by the way how is Jean Marie doing today - lol.

Although there were SO many of those repunks who voted for impeachment who were in the same boat hard to pick the biggest hypocrite - have to be Henry Hyde I think.

3. Where do you live now?
I'm really excited about Andy Hurst. He's honest, has great credentials and is running a real "people first" campaign. We haven't had a good candidate to run against Davis in a long time, I hope this is the year the 11th District gains back a Democrat.

4. I'm in FL now

have to tell you I was very involved in getting Leslie Byrne elected to the 11th district in '92 - I think that was actually the first year it was even a district. There isn't a whole lot politically I am prouder of than that - it was a blessed two years never felt more represented in my life....but sadly Tommy boy took her out in the '94 blood bath...

I was very involved in VA politics in the 90s through an environmental organization - think Tommy boy even took a shot at me once when I was quoted in a local paper when he went from Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and ran for Congress - we naturally endorsed Leslie -

I was in Reston and somewhere along the way probably 2002 they moved us out of Tom Davis district to Jim Moran's we were undesirable Dems and he had to get rid of us. Jim Moran had been my rep before I moved to Reston and I was glad to have him back - especially when he voted against the Iraq War Resolution.....

moved to FL two years ago - and man I'm in culture shock - and I just would advise anybody to RESEARCH the area you're moving to before you move - because I'm now feeling like I made a BIG mistake.

On edit good luck with your candidate - hope he sends Tom packing....

5. I was told by someone who worked for the NRCC that...
a "top NRCC" campaign official in 2000 actually scheduled his trysts in his schedule book.

Not sayin' it was Davis...
