(R) Candidate's R-rated Web site comes back to haunt him

ABERDEEN, Wash. – At Sunny 102.1 Radio, a long-time DJ is back on the air after storm clouds moved over his career and political prospects.

Rhys Davis
What may have started as a joke now has serious consequences for Republican Rhys Davis.

His bid for a Grays Harbor County commission seat hit a snag when a rival radio station recently revealed he had more than a skeleton in his closet.

Four years ago, Davis created a Web site called "Racks by Rhys." The page, now mostly down, featured shots of cleavage, even full-frontal nudity. The site said breasts were a hobby.

1. That's pretty rich.
Do people not think about their pasts when considering a run for office?

3. The story's gotten some coverage here
Rhys actually lied (surprise) the domain was registered a year-and-a-half ago on his employer's internic account. His employer suspended him for a week.

For several weeks prior to the election, he tried to run as an independent, but was unable to get the required signatures. So he ran as a Republican (the republicans here can best be compared to the Washington Generals - no republican has won countywide race since 1970 or so), because "I'm a christian". :puke:

He's actually kind of a nice guy, but his opponent is better, naturally.
