A West Virginia man was among 11 Marines and one Army Green Beret whose bodies were recovered in Vietnam this week. It's the largest single group of MIAs identified since the Vietnam War, the Defense Department said.

James R. Sargent of Anawalt was an 18-year-old lance corporal when he was killed May 9, 1968, in battle in Vietnam, records indicate.

He and the other members of his unit were those whose bodies were recovered.

my thoughts go out to his family
