Massey chief has new hit list

Coal executive Don Blankenship says he wants to overthrow about three dozen legislators, including most of Kanawha County's delegation, starting this weekend.

The Massey Energy chairman said he's firing the first shots Saturday and Sunday by sending about 30 volunteers door-to-door to campaign. He said the number of volunteers would grow into the thousands in the weeks leading up to the general election in November.

He also plans a direct mailing effort and has started a Web site, www.andforthesakeofthekids.com.
