Jimmy Carter in West Bend, Thursday

Jimmy Carter will be signing his new book at the West Bend Wal Mart on Thursday, November 9, 7:00-9:00PM. The Wal Mart is on Paradise Drive west of Highway 45, very easy to get to from Milwaukee.

Maybe I'll call my cousin and ask her to get a book for Dad.

3. Some local Republicans leaders....

..... and their water-carriers on Milwaukee talk radio have been caw-cawing about that. I heard from someone involved in the preparations that it was arranged by the publisher and/or the publicity person. I wouldn't know if Carter has veto power in his contract.

Not only is it at Wal Mart but this area is probably 90% Republican. However, the store is 35 miles from the Milwaukee area via freeway. Also, I know of local Republicans who want to meet him out of respect for him personally.
