The 2010 census has begun hiring -- starting with pay rate $19-27/hour. Testing at Milwaukee Central Library this month. I've not done it but my sister and my dad both worked for the census in 2000 and said it was ridiculously easy work, especially considering the pay. Obviously just a temp thing but in case any of you is interested in making some extra $$$ (like I am) check it out here http://www.census.gov/rochi/www/2010Jobs.html

I copied and sent it to a friend whose job is ending soon.
She did the census in 2000 and enjoyed it. She told me she had not thought about it but that it might be a great option for her right now. She thanks you for posting.
