2. Show up, it's a very informal venue -
If you've never been there, go. Definitely worth your time.

You probably could meet Sen. Sanders. There is also link on the site for 'suggestions for speakers'. I've thought of sending Dr. Dean and Rep Weiner's names in for consideration.

lol.....In 2004, I literally ran into RFK Jr. I turned a corner going into the grandstand arena and collided with someone. He looked familiar, but I could NOT remember where I had seen him before, so I started a mental list of all WI pols that might be there.......Just could NOT place the face. Later, when he was introduced to give his speech (he spoke about his book "Crimes against Nature"), it dawned on me. Talk about your moment of epiphany - "THAT'S where I've seen that face before!" He looks JUST like his father. It was like I had collided with RFK - which is probably why it didn't register, because I know RFK is dead.

I've gone to two -- last year, and 2006 -- and am still upset that I missed 2007.

4. Vinehout? A progressive?
With her anti-choice/pro conscience clause votes and confusing environmental votes? Has the definition of a progressive changed?
