I FINALLY got my divorce. And a job! Thinks are looking better for me personally though I'm really pissed about the elections. Walker is an unmitigated disaster - and Johnson will prove to be facepalm embarrassing!

5. I still haven't worked my way through the grief and anger

I live in Waukesha County and I'm surrounded by numbskulls who think these 2 are incredible. It's pathetic.

I've starting to get along better with Republican numb skulls, in general, by not letting it get personal. Just think of them has having some sort of physical or genetic defect. So many personal tragedies, because those people must have been born without the bullshit detector that would have let them see through the nonsense that people like Limbaugh and Hannity and Belling and Beck are spewing. Sadly, they have no natural (or acquired) immunity.

Leave it at that and try to look for whatever other good qualities that person might have, never ignore those.

Glad to hear from you, happy to report I'm doing pretty well. Finally found another job I'm pretty happy with.

7. Happy Holidays everybody....

It almost pains me to say this because I'm almost despondent over the outcome of the election and knowing that in Wisconsin, and Washington...the Repubs take over in just over a week and a half.

In Wisconsin we lost both Houses of the Legislature AND the Governorship. I still cannot understand how people could vote against their best interests the way they did...it boggles the mind....

It's going to take some time for me to build up the wherewithal to go to battle again, but I know I must....beating Republicans is beginning to be a lot like whack-a-mole.....

Enjoy the time with your friends and families...know that you have kindred spirits here on DU ....
