Sources: Harper's fall agenda includes clean air act
A clean air act to combat pollution and a package of new environmental protection measures will become the Conservative government's new top priority come the fall, say senior Conservative sources.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper's inner circle is already piecing together the followup to their tightly focused spring agenda of five top priorities.

The government believes it is on track to pass the Federal Accountability Act, cut the GST and give Canadian parents $1,200 a year for child care.

The fall agenda won't necessarily have five priorities, but a definite direction's taking shape.

1. LOL, who wants to bet Harper's 'clean air act' will mirror bush's
so that the title of the act is totally opposite to the wording of the act which will loosen environmental restrictions on corporations.

3. Subsidizing public transit to the tune of $1.20 a month per person
will unleash powerful market forces that will encourage transit use and cut car exhaust emissions by 98%.
