4. Hi Rtd2 - Are you visiting from another Discussion Board?
One that calls the Shrub "W"? Well, if so welcome! :hi:

I think Ted and Hillary are printing out all of their FAXes and Emails and Telegrams, counting up the number of phone calls they got today (Conyers' said the DC switchboards were LIT UP), talking with lawyers and constitutional scholars, and doing some soul-searching...

They're still getting thousands of emails, FAXes, phone messages -- every hour -- from people with Rainbow/Push; MoveOn PAC; True Majority; listeners of Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy; readers of Common Dreams & Truthout & DailyKos & FreePress & heck, even AP articles, viewers of MSNBC...

Busy, busy, busy...

5. Why so hot after Kennedy & Clinton???
I find your posts "interesting", including the one where you mistakenly cut & paste from a RW site.

12. Kennedy was just quoted as saying that the administration's
crap about "trial lawyers" and caps for medical malpractice, etc. etc., was just the administration's way of helping HMO's and insurance companies hide their dirty secrets. Bravo, Ted!

13. don't know about Ted, but Hillary (my Senator) is . . .
despite the far right demonizing her as a leftist, Hillary epitomizes the DLC branch of the party . . . right now she's scouring the landscape, trying to find the exact, precise, mathematically certain center in American politics . . . as I've said before, she's searching for white lines and dead armadillos . . .

like other senators and congressperson, Hillary is a very intelligent person . . . as such, there are certain things that she HAS to know for certain are true, including . . .

- that corporations run the country (and the government) and are the major polluting agent in American politics . . .

- that the "official story" of 9/11 is complete bullshit; and . . .

- that the 2004 election was stolen through massive fraud and voter disenfranchisement . . .

as very intelligent people, she and the others KNOW that these statements are all true . . . yet, with the others, she chooses not to do anything about any of them . . . which seems to imply that she values her position AS A SENATOR -- with all the perks and privileges -- more than she values "doing what's right" . . . and these are exactly the kinds of people we DON'T need representing us in Washington . . . with this kind of leadership, the chances of the Democrats reclaiming their mantle as the "Party of the People" are slim and none . . .

Expediency asks the question: Is it politic?
Vanity asks the question: Is it popular?
But conscience asks this question: Is it right?
And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular --
but one must take it simply because it is right.

14. Limousine Liberals...haha. Seriously, they suck if they don't stand up.
No more bull shit from Hillary, Miss Expert foreign affairs (domestic too). If they show up and stand up, my apologies in advance. If they don't, this will be a sad commentary on otherwise fine careers.
