Remember, Republicans don't want this election contested.
Expect them to try to suggest that a contest will hurt our side. They are terrified that this will result in the truth coming out. A contest can only help. It will show our people have backbones. It will help bring out the truth about what the Republicans did. The outcome of the contest is not as important (given the ration of Dems to Reps) as the fact of the contest. They did not have the courage to contest in 2001. A contest will show Bush did something seriously wrong here.

Watch out for Republicans trying to discourage us and our leaders.

1. SOMEBODY on the Senate side for us...
Needs to give Dub, Cheney and the congressional Repubs the proverbial finger on their wishes, and make that motion to co-sponsor a contest!

B-)

6. You've hit the problem...
none of the senators will stand-up for what is right. I wish one of them would grow some back-bone.

2. How to have FAIR elections 6 times a year!
1. Contact your Senators tonight and tomorrow!

2. Start an UDO in your state or DC!

Then we WILL have elections 6 times a year!

Open and transparent!

3. An investigation will find widespread fraud, vote manipulation, & suppressi
Edited on Thu Jan-06-05 12:09 AM by berniew1
There was widespread and systematic voter suppression of minority voters, dirty tricks, vote machine fraud, and other vote manipulation in Ohio, New Mexico, and Florida- that was of magnitude enough to call in question who won those states.

http://www.flcv.com/bernalil.html
etc.

and also similar patterns in other states where the suppression and fraud did not change the election results including vote machine fraud in Calif., Pennsylvania, Washington, Texas, etc.

http://www.flcv.com/snohomis.html
http://www.flcv.com/mercerco.html
etc.

(the voter suppression of minorities in Mercer County is the worst I've ever seen-followup needed)

The unethical and illegal actions were so systematic and widespread that this cannot be allowed to continue uninvestigated and unpunished. There was a huge amount of obvious malfeasance that should be investigated and dealt with.

5. They don't want to wake up the citizens
They don't want the citizens to ask questions.

Democracy can be very messy -- and perhaps it should be messy.

Many of our elected democratic Senators and Reps don't remember the early history of this nation -- there were numerous debates -- in fact it was a way of life way back then.

BRING BACK DEBATE!

7. On the brighter side, the last two days have flushed out a lot
of republican trolls here. I'm beginning to enjoy that littler "ignore" button.
