NBC says "Exit Poll results in the hands of lawyers."

In a call today to NBC corporate headquarters (212 664-4444) moments ago, the question was posed: "When are you going to release the exit polls?"

NBC spokesperson (female) on the other end answered "No one is going to answer your question because it's in the hands of lawyers."

When told that her answer was being written down for accuracy, NBC spokesperson said something to the effect of "I'm not happy you're writing this down."
