computer that raised red flags?

Look at these two images at the Ohio Democratic Party website and check out the guy at the far right in the corner by whatever that thing is. Is it the tabulator?

I'd post them here but I'm not savvy enough.

On edit: Forgot to mention these pictures are under the Gaeuga Cty. recount

8. Sure looks like the same guy.
But I wouldn't swear to it in a court of law. Why not contact the site and ask them?

11. I've blogged your finding at Hungry Blues
http://minorjive.typepad.com/hungryblues/2005/01/triad_employee_.html

or: http://tinyurl.com/6b4r9

Great research! You can use those urls to spread the word, if you like. As you'll see, I've linked back to this thread, as well as to the relevant truthout article with the video and affadavit. All the pics are up in one place so it's easy to make the comparison . . .

13. Update: Geauga County Stands To Have Election Data Wiped By February 8
Geauga County is of some significance in the National Voting Rights Institute motion asking the federal court to preserve all ballots and election machinery. The memorandum (pdf) that includes the motion to preserve all ballots and election machinery makes special mention of Geauga County because it is one of several counties that will hold special elections on February 8, 2005. (The other counties are: Cuyahoga, Butler, Trumbull, and Wood.) In Geauga County, the special election is for a ballot question on a tax issue. I haven't yet checked to see what is on the ballot in the other four counties.

In all of these counties, the 2004 presidential election data is likely to be destroyed in order to use the machines for a new election. Given the allegations of criminal activity by Mr. Barbian in Hocking County, it would seem all the more pressing to preserve the electronic data from the voting machines in counties where he was present prior to or during a recount.

Go here for more information on the National Voting Rights Institute's legal actions in Ohio as counsel to Presidential Candidates David Cobb (Green Party) and Michael Badnarick (Libertarian) to have a full recount of all votes cast in Ohio.

15. Triad doesn't even service Geauga-it's an ES&S county
according to what I've been able find.

16. that's kind of important
do you have a source? if it's ES&S does that mean they're using optical scan in Geauga County?

I'll look into this, but if you've already got the data on machines and company in Geauga, please say.

19. I've seen a Triad company graphic that shows where they service
Will Pitt's site has a little map

http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/121604Z.shtml

All but the white areas are Triad

I also dowloaded an excel document that stated ES&S was the vendor

20. okay, that's interesting
I'm guessing your spreadsheet is from verified voting. yes?

Anyway over there I got the same info as you found:
http://verifiedvoting.org/verifier/map.php?topic_string=5std&state=ohio&county=Geauga

Geauga County Detail:
Voting Technology: Optical Scan: Central Count
Vendor: Election Systems and Software, Inc. (ES&S)
Data Source: CASE-ohio.org; electionline.org
Last Verified: 4-Sep

So if that is Michael Barbian, what the hell is he doing in an ES&S county that uses optical scan machines??

Either it's not him, or something really fishy is going on here.

Those pics are from the Guernsey county recount. There are two pics from Guernsey and four from Geauga. I'm soooo sorry. I've been on the computer too long.

Guernsey is a Triad county so that probably is Michael because this is from the votecobb website

"There was also a man there from Triad, the company that manages the machines and computers that make the tally. He had come earlier and tested the equipment. I asked about this, wary of someone fiddling with the machinery. Malinak said that she and the deputy director had had him test "prelogical and accuracy." I'm not sure what that means."

There's more if you want to read it

23. fixed the blog entry...
first one is corrected and I've added a new one with an explanation and updated info:

http://minorjive.typepad.com/hungryblues/2005/01/significant_cor.html

As I said in our email, I actually went and checked all the same sources as kitkat65 did, so it's pretty amazing that we both made the same errors.

14. Looks like him to me,..
Only difference I can tell is the side burn length.

Similarities I can see
Chin, hair cut style and length, glasses, face, body weight.

17. It looks like him but look at his glasses. In the geauga pics it looks...
like the bottom of the lens has a rim. In the triad tape he does not. I could be wrong but maybe another opinion could clarify.

I downloaded the pic and enlarged and could not tell at all, though it gets more blurry, being so lo res...

I just don't think I can see what his glasses look like with any specificity in the Gueauga County pics. What do others see?

his face. It could be a shadow.
