Rendell appoints members to Elections Reform Task Force
Gov. Ed Rendell announced the appointment of 13 members to the newly created Pennsylvania Elections Reform Task Force, which will review and make recommendations on the state's election processes.

Among recommendations to be made by the task force are: timing of the state's presidential primary, options for early voting, improvements to the absentee ballot application and submission process, options for apportioning electoral votes and necessary adjustments to the Uniformed Overseas Absentee Voting Act.
