Ohio training "Patriot Pastors"--who among us will lead the resistance?
This looks like a big mobilization gearing up. Please check out this website and ask yourself if you can take leadership in responding to this. Others will step forward to help if you (or your organization) can take it on.

4. Maybe
there is a listing of Pastors or Clergy in the Columbus area that we could contact and encourage to do something. If nothing else, the yellow pages.

6. I wouldn't do this yet
Many of the people you'd be calling would be of the "Patrior Pastor" ilk. I think it would be more effective to launch organized opposition before making "cold calls" to this population.

5. Ohio For Jesus Advertising – 30-second radio spots featuring Secretary of
State Ken Blackwell. Unbelievable. Guess it all makes sense when you look at Ahmanson ownership of voting system companies.

7. interesting...
....perhaps off the beaten trail a little. I had heard that there was a recent FCC auction of low power radio stations that were snapped up by church organizations.

10. I sent a question to freepress asking if this non-profit church is allowed
to offer candidate for Gov J. Kenneth Blackwell this televison time, email list etc. Perhaps Repub rival for Gov, and OH Attorney General, Jim Petro would be interested.

11. TAX 'EM!!!
Churches wanna play politics; they are no longer a tax-free "charitable" organization.

I'm tired of paying higher property taxes on my home, so that these "patriots" can spout off their venom in a tax-free building.

13. Truly disturbing...
Once they gain control by fraud, they now have the imperative motive of winning over the whole state.

16. Thanks ModMom--I'd sleep even easier if two things--
1) I knew that it was not only widely distributed but that people are taking on doing something about it, and
2) if I didn't stay up to late on a regular basis meandering around DU.

Can you do anything about either of those for me?

I'm glad Richard decided to go to your teach-in. I think he'll make an important contribution there.

That's just one of the ways *you* can sign up to help the Ohio Restoration (sic) Project with their Patriot Pastors:

Do Pacifist Priests and Revolutionary Rabbis have similar websites?
