Stolen Minority votes give Shrub the presidency!
Edited on Sat Jul-22-06 04:55 PM by Melissa G
Paul Robeson Jr. does the math off the New York Times breakdown figures which changed two days later..

This commentary was just given today at the book fest panel on the 2004 stolen election . It was some great stuff!
Here is the link to the original DU discussion posted by indyOp
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=203x442198

Has anyone found a link to the Cspan2 show on the net? it is well worth seeing!

Short version 2000.. 1.1 million votes stolen from Black voters
2004 had the same 1.1 million stolen plus 2.2 latino votes plus invalid votes and amazingly the Nader votes. He does the exact math but I am having to go from memory...

3.4 million was the magic theft number for 2004.

Robeson claims New York Times is complicit in the theft! He says the numbers are all their in the ethnic breakdowns plus the invalid votes and the Nader votes. Wonderful testimony!

This was what we were looking for right after the 2004 election!

THIS Will Be REBROADCAST!!!! Thanks to Liam laddie for the info!

C-Span 2 rebroadcast of Harlem Book Fair
from C-span website - Sunday, July 23, 10 p.m. EDT, which would put
the Elections Panel beginning about 11:45 p.m. Program that VCR!!!

1. New York Times is complicit in the theft
Of course they are ..... they know the #s and the data and yet NPR, serious academics,
and media members across the country have made a calculated choice to say "bush won,
get over it you whining losers." (Al Franken I am looking @ you)

The data has been there from november of 2004 and it is damning for bush's claim to
have won re-election but Tim Russert, the NY Times, and others still play the game
that nothing happened. Good lord in Cleveland (Cuyahoga County) 175,000 black voters
were scrubbed from voting roles (rolls ?) prior to the 2004 vote ..... this was done by the
head of the Ohio Republican Party .... Bob Bennett who was also head of the County BOE.

2. What he said.
And don't forget that they sat on the NSA surveillance story for a year, not wishing to "interfere" with the 2004 election. Don't want voters swayed with info about what the administration is doing, of course.

stay out of jail much less be running the country!
Voting rights violations galore.. lying us into wars.. invasion of privacy, spying on american citizens without warrants and sending our children off to get slaughtered in their war of choice.. A real Functional media which was actually guarding our precious democracy would have put a stop to all that long ago...

Did you hear the questions the NYT asked Palast about.. if the 2004 election was really stolen?
He had reams of data.. They wanted to know if he was a conspiracy nut?

3. Botany, did you hear Robeson Jr.'s statement?
When TIA and all of us were frantically doing math and various counties on spreadsheets.. THIS was what I thought we were trying to find... the discrepancy of where the votes were taken from.

We knew they were stolen.. It was just a question of where and how.. so we went digging.
Robeson's elegant statements for me summed it up. They were there in the published summations right after the election and then revised two days later.. the revisions that showed the theft. Covered and created- Created and covered- by the the complicit, corporate media!

7. No I don't know about that switched data
send me a link or a copy of it please.

I did see both Lucas (Toledo) & Hamilton (Cincinnati) counties in Ohio partial returns
as screen captures that showed a 3rd party candidate receiving the exact # of votes that
J. Kerry did with about 10% of the vote in. It was from Ken Blackwell's web site ..... the
flipping was being done and the 3rd party candidate was being used as "internal hold"
for votes before the final tabulation and needed votes nulled out or switched to bush.

I also remember CNN exit poll showing Kerry wining and then it was pulled and shown
again @ 2:00 AM something this time with blended data (Mitofsky mixed exit poll data
with the vote data) and the "new poll" showed bush wining.

8. I suspect it is in Robeson's book..Since these were all authors
selling books on the panel but I am not sure..If you watch the rebroadcast you will get the scoop.
My understanding is that the NYT posted an immediate summation of the election figures right after they were posted, as in the next day. They then reworked the figures in the next two days when they did a final analysis on the next Sunday. 3.4 million votes were shifted. The shifts were mostly along ethnic lines..1.1 million African Americans, 2.2 million Latinos, some invalid votes(80% minority) and the Naderites..
If I can find a link I will post it, but watch the show if you can.

11. So that's why the GOP wanted Nader in the mix
to act as a buffer to hold the shifted votes until they could rework the numbers. Interesting.
