Has anyone read any Stephen White?
An acquaintance says they're great (a series, apparently), but the opinions here on DU carry more weight with me. So before I buy/borrow, I'd like to know what you think. He's not listed on the serial-writer thread. Thanks.

2. i've read a few
he's a nice fast read -- i've read several alan gregory books as airplane books, they're not real deep but they're readable, good suspense, and keep you turning the page

3. I've read a few of his novels.
Easy and enjoyable serial fiction about a Boulder psychologist/crime fighter. He lives in Boulder, I think. He was also a psychologist before turning author.

I need some light stuff to distract me! I'll give him a try.

8. That was one of the best
A real page turner. I read it a while ago and I still remember it. That says a lot because I usually forget most crime/thriller novels about 2 weeks after I finish them.

7. I just peeked into one of his books on Amazon &
it looked pretty good from the little glimpse they give you. His books seem to all have pretty good reviews from the readers there too.

I'd say go for it.
