Suggestions as to which Walker Percy book to take on vacation?
I have three novels by him that I haven't yet read (I've only read The Second Coming and loved it).
The three are Lancelot, Love in the Ruins and The Last Gentleman. I also have a non-fiction collection of his, The Message in the Bottle.

I also have "All the Little Live Things" by Wallace Stegner that I haven't read yet. I loved his "Angle of Repose."

Any suggestions?

thanks

1. What, no Moviegoer???
Of the three you mention, I've only read Love in the Ruins and very much enjoyed it -- it was a number of years ago, but I seem to remember it was kind of post-Apocalyptic and Vonnegut-like.

But I do love The Moviegoer and the Thanatos Syndrome.

I've never gotten into Wallace Stegner, for whatever reason.
