1. I hate to do this, but I am hard-wired to do so
That should be "Chilean". If you've ever been to Palm Beach, you may remember that a street over there was so misnamed:

http://www.historicpalmbeach.com/eliot-kleinberg/2011/04/florida-still-restricts-land-ownership-by-immigrants-ineligible-for-citizenship/

"Readers: Our April 14 column said Cap Dimick misspelled the Palm Beach road as Chilian Avenue “and it’s still spelled that way.” Post staff researcher Michelle Quigley reminds us the town council voted in 2003 to change it to the proper Chilean."

3. Actually, I think we did too
around 1952, in an apartment. A few months later we moved over to WPB (Avenida Hermosa).

4. You wouldn't recognize PB now or Chilean for that matter. They knocked
down my lovely apartment house (I had the upstairs and it had a front porch with the wrought-iron rail. Very Bourbon Street. They built a McMansion on the site but that too is quite beautiful. I loved that street. I live downtown West Palm off of Flagler. Lots of changes over the years.

I used to date girls from this area. Now I live here.

5. The rescue of those miners was one of the most dramatic things
I have ever seen on TV--thanks for the heads-up.

The Prohibition series was wonderful---a must see.
