Pastor Says He Knew Nothing About Alleged Drug Use In Church-Owned Home

Dayton police arrested two men during a drug raid at 601 N. Gettysburg on Thursday evening.
According to property records, the home is is owned by the Central Baptist Church, whose pastor is Rev. Raleigh Trammell. Trammell is a well-known activist in the Miami Valley, and the head of Dayton's Southern Christian Leadership Conference. He also confirmed that he is the landlord of the rental property.
According to police reports, officers confiscated cocaine, heroin and marijuana from the home. Two men, Michael Long, 35, and Damon Crawford, 36, were arrested and charged with possession of drugs.
When asked by News Center 7 if he knew anything about the alleged drug use going on inside the church's rental home, Trammell said "absolutely not."
