Seattle Atheists collect for Rapture Relief Fund
(John) Keiser and the 280 other members of Seattle Atheists have already raised $800 for the fund, and they hope to have $5,000 by May 21.

1. Better way to go than fear-mongering the Rapture.

5. How about ridiculing the Rupture?

7. Right, except that they never learn that.
They've been too specific at least 50 times that I can remember, and it hasn't stopped them yet. :)

2. It's a good cause but where does the "relief" come in?
Relieving the pressure of stupid religious dogma from some kids maybe?

3. My favorite line from the article
"Seattle Atheists will use the money to help survivors of any Armageddon-sized disaster in the Puget Sound area"

4. So awesome!
Wish someone was looking out for us heathens in my area. As it is, we'll have to fend for ourselves when the meteors start showering.
