Manny is radioactive!

In more ways than one.

Record crowd at Isotopes Park. He did not address his suspension. Maybe he should cut off all his dreads like Vlad Guerrero and take a new identity.

1. Bonds was always loved in SF... same for A-Hole in NY...
...just wait til he has to play an away game where the fans aren't blind, deaf and dumb.

2. BIG Difference
unlike A-Fraud or Manny...Bonds has never admitted to KNOWINGLY using steroids or been definitely connected to a dirty test. At this point in time he remains an innocent man.

3. WRONG! He has been connected to a positive test...but you are right that he's
never admitted to knowingly using it...because HE THINKS PEOPLE ARE STUPID! Arrogant SOB.

those tests were excluded by the judge in the current perjury case... a direct link to Bonds cannot be proved without the testimony of Greg Andersen. .

5. No you've got it wrong again...the test in 2003 is excluded .when he tested
positive...and Bonds was told that he tested positive on that test. Then committed perjury when he said he never knowingly had taken steroids, and that alleged cream that he took he thought was just something harmless and THAT positive test came after the 2003 test that he knew about, but Congress didn't and no one really did at the time, so he figureed he could claim that cream was just a one-time thing. Lying, hypocrtital, arrogant a**hole.

10. While it's true we do not like players cheating, it's more
egregious (I'll hang on while trumad frantically flips through his dictionary) the player is a member of the hated enemy rivals from Southern California.

11. Wait...there's an actual team called the Albuquerque Isotopes?
I thought that was just a creation of the Simpsons.

14. They Named Themselves After The Episode
In which, of course, the Springfield Isotopes never actually moved to New Mexico.

17. Yep
In the episode, the owner of the Springfield Isotopes was supposed to be moving the team to Alberqueque. Homer found out and did a hunger strike. He became a protester named "Hungry, Hungry Homer". He tried to expose them, but they made him look like a lunatic (ok, that's not that hard).

But, at the end, they got him to end his hunger strike by offering him a hot dog, which had something like guacamole and corn relish. He got the crowd to understand that those were southwest cuisine, and Duff Man broke and exposed the whole thing.

The owner of the Alberqueque Indy League team loved that episode and changed the name of his team. I think that was in 2004, but i don't remember for sure.

I remember that episode well...Duff Man is one of my favorite ancillary characters.

19. Mine Too, Joey
He's so smarmy that you have to love him. I think it's Hank Azaria who does the voice, but it might be Harry S.

22. They must be slipping then
I haven't really checked in a while. They always seem to have plenty of talent coming up. I know they used to be considered the best. Players like Loney, Martin, Kemp all came up through the system. The problem is it is very hard to crack the lineup so a lot of those prospects end up elsewhere (Konerko, Werth). I'm sure they'll be back on top soon. Go Isotopes!
