(snip)

The crowd cheered when a note was flashed on the center-field board with the Yankees' loss and their worst start since 1991.

4. Excellent
The way the AL East is set up right now is pretty much how I ideally would like it. Though those Jays should get out of first.

15. i was talking about the other guy
with the o's emblem. he said they were going for the sweep. spoken like a man who's team hasn't seen postseason action since clinton was roaming the wh. i like bukowski's althought it's getting dangerous to wear my yankees stuff in this town these days.

18. I had a really nice talk with a Yankee fan at Bukowski's
just this past Wednesday. It's not dangerous, dude. You'll take a bit of shit and then everyone will tell you how much they admire your team. That's what I did, anyway.

19. I just meant it was possible
But its not improbable, we did sweep the Yanks in 2000 at home, a year we werent any good, now if we were takling Yankee Stadium here, I would give some credience to what you say since the O's havent swept the Yanks at Yankee Stadium since 1986. We'll see what happenes tommorow afternoon, I am just trying to be hopeful since I really miss the orioles doing good, its been a long time and I miss the years when we had a shot even though it was brief.

14. What its not improbable man
The Orioles did sweep the Yankees at home in 2000. I dont think it will happen but it can. Oh and your 6 months have been my 7 years, its not fun, is it?

16. I'm not sure I could describe how humiliating it's been
living in Boston and having to deal with all those people I gave subtle, condescending digs to all those years.

It's a long season my friend and I've never bought the adage that "a win in April is as good as a win in September". The O's pitching will fall apart as it always does.

17. I hope youre wrong about our pitching

Besides its probably been a humbling experience for you, Orioles have only made the playoffs twice my whole life and it sucks but it makes me appreciate the small things like a third place finish better. Sorry if I sound mean but you cant wint them all, Yanks won more world series in the whole last decade than O's did, division titles. I really do think your team has made mistakes though, they didnt need A-Rod, you should have kept Soriano, I also think Nick Johnson who is now the Nat's first baseman was a mistake to get rid of too.

9. these games are all meaningless - you should know that by now
last year the y's lost 5 of tbe first 6 v boston. 5.5 out at the end of april. we were 10 up by july and you guys won the ws. as for the o's and jays - i won't believe they can make the playoffs until they actually do.
