The NBA championship trophy is named after former Commissioner Larry O'Brien. In addtion to being a former NBA Commissioner, Larry O'Brien occupies a space in U.S. history. What historic American event is Larry O'Brien linked to?

6. Larry O'Brien Had A Very Colorful Life
Worked with the Kennedys, Lyndon Johnson, Hubert Humphrey...was a lobbyist for Howard Hughes, and the last NBA draft that he presided over was the one for Michael Jordan.
