Message to the Minnesota Twins:
When you win the AL Central again, just stay home.

Let the Royals take your place, because you are worthless!

1. Nah, the Yankees just own them.
If they had played anyone else it would have been competitive.

2. agreed, some teams just own others, no matter what happens
its beyond their control.

With my Mariners, the Yankee's have killed us in the post season numerous times(except once, 1995)...they just had our number, and it seemed all the breaks went their way, and all the bad mojo slammed was slammed into our face.

4. They are definitely on my shit list now...they could have at least put up a fight!
So close to having the best record in the AL and they are once again Satan's b**ch.

5. Minnesota's roster was minus Midge...
remember three years ago, Cleveland vs. Yankees?

Midges rise from Lake Erie and buzz Yankees, helping Cleveland Indians win

Call them the 10th man for the Indians. And the 11th, 12th . . . maybe even the 10,000th.

A swarm of bugs descended upon players at Friday's playoff game against the New York Yankees, driving a few to distraction. Joe Keiper, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History's bug expert suspects they were midges.

"That's my best guess without going out there with a bugnet," said Keiper after watching television footage of bugs camping out on Yankee hurler Joba Chamberlain's neck.

6. What should the Twins take away from this series?
Unless they decide their method of team construction doesn't work in a league with the Yankees and just blow the whole team up, they really can't do much about it.

They have 1 glaring weakness, and that's their lineup vs. LHP. (They still did alright against CC.) All their best bats are lefties, and there's not enough money in their payroll to bring in Morneau-Mauer level talents that bat right-handed.
